Yumi's wedding dress for Saturday, May 12, 2012

I've been working with Yumi for few months on her wedding dress and a veil. We couldn't meet often since she lives in the bay area. I made her a short veil since she's petite. For her wedding dress, I added padded cups so that she doesn't need to spend extra on her under garment. I also shaped the bodice area so that she looks slimmer. It was fun working with Yumi, her mother, and her sister.

Davis High School Senior Prom for May 19th.

Kate brought me her prom dress last week and asked me what I could do to make it stand out. So I suggested her to have me put some sequins on the flower and the strap. She told me to do whatever design I wanted so I did a clear sequins on the flower and clear, light pink, and dark pink sequins on the strap. I didn't put too much sequins on the strap because I didn't want the distract her young beautiful face.

Was rifiling through my wardrobe the other day and stumbled upon these floral little beauties, kinda shorts, kinda skirt, its one of those hybrid little wonders that keep people guessing, which I find amusing! Floral is still so 'on trend' at the moment, jeans, blazers and shirts are all out there and so easy to mix and match with other basic pieces in your wardrobe. Think black jeans, white v neck basic tee and floral blazer.....The perfect floral delight.

Coachella 2012

This is where id rather be right now.....Coachella 2012, dressing in short shorts, boho blouses, khaki anything, gumboots, ankle boots, boots of all colour and kind, plenty of 'arm junk', floppy hats, skull rings and 2 day unwashed hair......Heaven :)

As I couldnt be there  have added the best of 'coachella style' for you to love, embrace and emulate, I know I will be and next year I am there with bells on.....Literally!!

Ok so I am back in black, as mentioned in my previous post, i love it and wear so much of it, maybe its a Melbourne thing! 

Winter is on its way, although Melbs is still experiencing warm bursts, this week its going to be cool and rainy.... my lazy days in the sun, wearing floaty dresses and denim cut off's are ending.  

Leather is still in (i doubt that it will ever go away!) so i teamed my newly bought Topshop leather jacket with a dark and moody  black cotton and lace dress and my Tony Bianco Alexa Boots. In winter especialy i like a tough, edgier look that feels a bit rock, i figure its time to put away the flirty, sunny, bohemia looks and get on with the cold months!
